Piedras House

ETÉREO ARQUITECTOS.

Tafí del Valle, Tucumán, Argentina.

Was conceived as a summer house in Tafí del Valle, knowned for its desertic climate. The 3500m2 ground is strategically located midway between El Mollar and Tafí, with an outstanding view of “La Angostura” dam.

The house stands on the highest point, towards the East. The valley’s vastness can be fully appreciated from there. A simple morphology creates a building that is both notorious and mixed with the landscape. It consists of three rock blocks combined with wood, as containers for the social activities. The project is completed by details in exposed concrete and corten steel.
